the forgotten un-cj page

I forgot an entire person when doing my un-cj pages. Sorry, Kim. Anyway, it is rectified now and here are the pages. The first page opens up and I scanned the opening also, but it really is a worthless picture since nothing more shows. Oh, well. Hope you enjoy it. It looks better in real life than in this flat scan.

lori's cj pages

For Lori's CJ we had to have a water related item and a structure item from our hometown. So I did the Fox River and the old drawbridges. We also have a train tressel bridge that still operates.

Dawn's CJ pages (The devil made me eat it)

This is my layout for Dawn's CJ. The CJ is "The devil made me eat it". We have to list the most disgusting thing we ever ate. Hopefully nobody has been on the Fear Factor show and eaten anything with moving legs.... ugh.

oval pictures gone bad

I absolutely am not a lover of having pictures cropped into shapes. Occasionally I do it (like in the previous zoo layout), but not the norm.

These pictures are from a collage portrait that I got in a package deal from Olan Mills years ago. I never put it in a frame because I always hated that they were a bunch of ovals on a white background. So i finally took the plunge and cut them up only to find that I couldn't get them cut into squares and rectangles at all. Oops. Now what? So with a lot of DecoArt Snow Writer and a heck of a lot more imagination than I thought I had, this is the end result. I kind of like it, but maybe that is only because I know where it has been..... ugh.

sketch for tamara's challenge

Tamara started a new sketch site http://sketcheswithmultiplephotos.blogspot.com/ that is challenging me to think in terms of following a preset design rather than punt every time. I have always loved sketches and use them frequently for my starting inspiration but I have never had to show a layout based on the sketch I started with, so this should be a great learning opportunity for me as well as a creative challenge.

Melissa's CJ

This is my cj page for melissa's "technique" circle journal. Putzy beading... ugh. But it looks pretty neat in real life.

Andrea's CJ pages

These are the last of the UN-CJ journal swap pages... uhm, except for my own title page.... lol. These are Andrea's for her Erin A-Z book for her daughter. Both pages have pull out journaling or extra photo spots.

Dawn's CJ pages (Tropical)

Here are Dawn's pages. Told you they would look familiar. I made do with the papers I had left, and I like the look of this one also. Just gorgeous paper.

Kim's Mexico CJ

Here are Kim's Mexico pages. Barely anything more than paper, but I love the look. Two mats and one journaling block. You will see this same layout again with a little bit different tag as i am going to pick up another set of this paper for Dawn's tropical page.
